you don't have to throw away the bottles, just pack them.  of course 
for people who had already checked their bags and found out about 
this as they were boarding that was a little hard, but now everyone 
should know. You don't have toss everything you can't carry on board, 
just put it in your checked luggage.  But if you have loose pills 
what will keep them from becoming unsterile yes and what if you are 
delayed so you need more doses.  Maybe I should take a boat and just 
spend the whole trip getting there.  Then of course I won't have 
enough time to get back, but I can worry about that later.
