I will never forget my proposal...it was in Wilmington, NC, at Flaming Amy's Burrito Barn, where you can "double wide" your burrito (extra toppings), and get 10% off on Tattoo Tuesday for flashing your ink (yeah, classy place). I just dripped a combination of guac and sour cream off my chin and on to my shirt, when I noticed my sweetie looking at me funny. I was feeling a bit silly, sitting there with greenish goo splattered on me, when he said he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. He hadn't been planning it at all, but he knew right then and there that he wanted to marry me, and he didn't want to wait for some artificial setting to say so. I have to admit I didn't say yes right away...the first words out of my mouth were "You're making me cry at Flaming Amy's, which is sooooo wrong on so many levels!" THEN I said yes!
