You hated Running with Scissors?! That was one of my favorite books that I read last year. It's hilarious.
I just finished Towelhead, which I thought would be a book about a girl of Arab descent grappling with racism as a teen in Texas, but it turned out to be a really weird ass book about sex and child abuse.
