I'm pretty certain he was trying for the exceedingly well-bred flatness that certain Europeans have when they speak very very good english (I'm thinking of the Dutch).  But I think darling Horatio Hornblower's was worse.  And of course, Jessica Alba was so very pretty and so very blank.  And completely too young.

Johnny Storm, though, the finest in frat-boy charm (and I mean that seriously).  And The Commish!  what's the Commish doing in this steaming turd?

It was just the most unambitious film.  I had to watch X-Men 2 afterward to restore my faith.

What exactly IS the accent he's trying to do? Cos' it's straight
middle American sometimes, over-affected English simetimes, and
flat-out Euro trash the rest of the time.

Makes me yearn for the voice work of Kevin Costner. Now THAT'S a man
with an ear for voices.

Yeah, and happy birthday Hannah.
