I just noticed on a receipt I have from Sbarro's a message at the
bottom that says "Thank you very much! Please exercise regularly!"
OMG. Are they trying to circumvent lawsuits accusing them of causing
obesity? I mean it's a great idea to exercise regularly and all, but
since when is it a restaurant's business to tell you that? Is this
the equivalent of the warning on cigarette packages saying smoking
kills or words to that effect? Eating at Sbarro's can be dangerous to
your health! I think eating anything anywhere can be dangerous to
your health if you eat too much of it. I wonder if this is the start
of a new trend, or if Sbarro's just wants to be known for its concern
for the health of its customers or what. Only in the 21st century, right?
