The Chinese thing was really directed at Stephanie or people who may be in a similar situation in the future with no dinner and no family. Chinese restaurants are good at diffusing the symbolism of the day and just treating it like any other day when you aren't in the Thanksgiving spirit (or Christmas for that matter).
