It may work, but I wouldn't pay my bills this way. If they catch on, they will 'dispose' of the piece or hold it postage due. They've been doing this a lot longer than you have and know what to look for. Interesting fact learned while attempting to find a cite for the above (which I failed to do): Apparently businesses are now allowed to affix post-it notes to the outside of letters.
