[wc] Garfield (the strip)/Jon Arbuckle (the character) Marrying Irving?

Anyone glance at Garfield often enough to have an opinion as to whether 
Jon will marry Liz or not?  This is definitely his longest 
relationship.  If he does, will the strip Marry Irving, not that it 
isn't bad enough as it is?  I think the group is on hiatus along with 
Gene.  Must be contagious.
