the only reason I even thought it might be by Gene before I finished
reading it is that someone here mentioned that Liz said he would be
online discussing his magazine article sometime this month, I thought
it was tomorrow, but I wasn't sure. So that was my only clue. You
have appreciate classical music to write an article like this I would
think, so apparently Gene has a little more cultchah than I would have
thought. But realisitically, the guy was playing at 8:00 AM is in a
freakin' subway station. People have places to go by definition. I'm
not that surprised, really. But maybe he should have gone to Dupont
Circle or one that isn't so downtown. people might be more attentive,
I don't know. L'enfant plaza is actually under an office building, so
people are already where they are going, not just going somewhere.
Maybe not the best place. Just a thought.
