You said something about insurance.  Do they take a lot out for 
insurance?  My salary is about that and I live alone, but my co. is 
generous with insurance.  Granted I don't have a car and I have some 
credit card debt, but I can manage my day to day expenses.  I'm not 
supporting a family, or even a cat, but if I were I would hope to 
have someone to share expenses with.  I probably couldn't support a 
family on it either.
