Shameless plug - you guys may want to check out www.meetin.org - it's a free social netowrking group based out of DC, with a huge chapter here in DC, and big groups in Boston and Chicago.
I joined two years ago when I found all my old DC friends were married, full of kids and/or moved away. I went to a few events, and have met some truly great friends through it. Since each city has about 3 to 7 events a week, almost every week, there's usually something going on you'll like - happy hours, hikes, shopping, roadtrips, parks - and it should make your transition to Chicago (and time in DC) easier. I think part of the reason I'm not in Austin, Texas, is because of my friends here. It might help you have some fun...and find some human cats to hang out with :) - RB --- In [email protected], "PJ Romano" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Good Luck Ellen.
