I need opinions. I want to have a housewarming party but do not want
to have people feel obliged to bring gifts like people typically do for
a housewarming. I also do not want to have it during lunch or dinner
as I do not want to try and afford to feed 50-60 people. I also am
looking to have it be a kinda drop in visit and leave event. I also do
not want to buy cocktails for that many people ( currently rather broke
since just bought house)
My question : Is having an ice cream social type party too kiddy? How
would you feel about a sunday afternoon ice cream social/ open house at
a friends?
