Drunkeoke @ Madam's Organ 2461 18th Street NW, Adams Morgan, Washington, DC There's a two-drink minimum to participate, but for anyone who's not interested in that, the "cost" will be "absorbed" by the group. Karaoke doesn't start until 9, which saves us all from having to eat the food at Madam's Organ*, so I figure I (as proposer and de facto organizer of this event) will get there about 8:30 or so to scope out some space for the WC'ers. It's on the second floor so you walk in the door and head straight up the stairs. I will have no sign. I hold no shame concerning my love for Gene, but I am also not announcing to perfect strangers that I'm hosting his fan club's meeting in Adams Morgan. I don't think my system can absorb that level of dorkiness. Sound good to all? *it's not terrible, just limited.
