A Yugoslavian pensioner lay dead in his rented flat for
five years before his body was discovered. The body of
78-year-old Vladimir Milosavljevic was found by chance
in his Berlin flat after a court official visited to claim
outstanding debts. Neighbours had not reported any
suspicions and his landlord didn't realise because the
rent was paid on time by standing order until recently.
Eight Italian traffic wardens are in trouble for sending their
boss a photo of their bare bottoms. It shows the wardens
completely naked and baring their backsides to 'moon'
at the camera. The group sent the photo as a protest
over working hours. The mayor of Bolzano says he
nearly fainted when he found the photo on his desk.
Remote-controlled toilets that disappear below ground
during the day could be installed across Britain to stop
people urinating in the street. The UriLift is connected
directly to the sewers and can be operated by council
staff and police via a handset. It looks like a manhole
cover during the day and uses hydraulic cylinders to
emerge from the pavement at night.

Geek-Speak Buster: "Image File"
An image file is just another type of file found on your
computer's hard drive. Image files will have a three
letter "file extension" that tells your operating system
(Windows) what program to use to open that file.
The most common image files have either a ".jpg" or
".gif" file extension. Files with ".jpg" extensions are
usually photographs, but not always. Files with ".gif"
extensions are usually graphics with fewer colors.
Photographs taken with a digital camera are almost always
in .jpg format. They have millions of colors. A typical file
name could be: mounteverest.jpg
Image files are different from text, sound, or video files.
Whether you call them "pictures", "graphics", "photos" or
"art", they're an image file.
Newbies can also do wonderful things with their computer,
