I can possibly look at it tonight, my girl is playing ultimate, so I'll have a bit of spare time (recently it seems that everyone I know has handed me a laptop to look at), if I can find my mini screwdrivers then I should be able to give you a fair idea of what's the issue.
send me an email with details, (it'll be gratis/lagniappe of course). If you can come up with an entertaining story instead of 'spilled a drink', I want the story to involve at least one white mouse. -Sam On Thu, Dec 11, 2008 at 9:44 AM, Jeffry Ghazally <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>wrote: > asus brand computer,,, i turned it off straight away,, and took the battery > out,,, left it for 36hours,, i tried taking the keyboard off,, but it aint > as easy to take a laptop apart as is with a desktop,,,, no hardware geeks in > wellies,,, my computer geek friends live in Malaysia,, :( cant find the > receipt for the warranty card,, bought it from dick smiths,,, > WWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAA its like not even two years old!!! > *waves fistin the air * any of you guys know of this computer shop on > marion st?? been reffered to them by a friend,,, > > > On Thu, Dec 11, 2008 at 9:10 AM, Sam B <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > >> I used to be :p >> >> >> >> >> On Thu, Dec 11, 2008 at 9:09 AM, Will Marshall <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >> > wrote: >> >>> >>> >>> On 11/12/2008, at 9:05 AM, Wendy wrote: >>> >>> > Got any geek friends that could confirm the level of fried-ness >>> > before you spend any money? >>> > >>> > Just so you know whether the money you spend would be on a new >>> > laptop or on repairs/parts.. >>> >>> >>> >>> The hardware shops don't do anything your average geek wouldn't.
