Of course I am not against improving the flexibility of the project and adding new features or support for other peripherals, so for sure this is a nice addition. However, I am concerned that you are going to let your project depend on a library developed by a single coder: what happens if he stops development? Did you try to reach him via email to know what are his current plans for the project? Are his goals the same (or at least comapatible) with yours? Will him eventally appreciate suggestion, patches ,etc coming from you? > > Even if the original author is not very actif for us it'll good enough It will be good enough in its current form or after some tweaking? > > The API is very simple so the lack of the doc is not an obstacle > I am not very fond of libraries without documentation, at least in Doxygen format. Sadly, many libraries you can find on the net haven't any. Since we are at this, would you evalute some alternatives? with a quick tour on sourceforge I found for example PortVideo (which would make a nice couple with PortAudio ;) ) http://sourceforge.net/projects/portvideo Cheers Gianluca _______________________________________________ Wengophone-devel mailing list [email protected] http://dev.openwengo.com/mailman/listinfo/wengophone-devel
