Hi

Just tried the precompiled version 2.1rc1 and noted that there are still
the same startup-crash issues I had with 2.0 (precompiled and compiled
myself). I did not run 2.1rc1 for a long time, so I do not know how it
acts if I run it longer. So I only know how my modified 2.0 version
runs: Since I've turned msn file-transfers off (that also seems to be
done in 2.1 now) and have added try-catch-clauses for some critical
actions 2.0 runs very stable for me as soon as it was able to start. But
the application-startup of 2.0 and 2.1rc1 fails in about 40% of startups
(this happens on Ubuntu 6.10 as well, as on SuSE 10.2).

I'll try to get a bit more details about this error but it seems to
happen just after the imwrapper was intialized, so shortly after
g_main_loop_run.
