Hi Just tried the precompiled version 2.1rc1 and noted that there are still the same startup-crash issues I had with 2.0 (precompiled and compiled myself). I did not run 2.1rc1 for a long time, so I do not know how it acts if I run it longer. So I only know how my modified 2.0 version runs: Since I've turned msn file-transfers off (that also seems to be done in 2.1 now) and have added try-catch-clauses for some critical actions 2.0 runs very stable for me as soon as it was able to start. But the application-startup of 2.0 and 2.1rc1 fails in about 40% of startups (this happens on Ubuntu 6.10 as well, as on SuSE 10.2).
I'll try to get a bit more details about this error but it seems to happen just after the imwrapper was intialized, so shortly after g_main_loop_run. *** glibc detected *** ./qtwengophone: double free or corruption (out): 0x089c7370 *** ======= Backtrace: ========= /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libc.so.6[0xb69918bd] /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libc.so.6(__libc_free+0x84)[0xb6991a44] /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0(g_free+0x31)[0xb6ca8b51] ./qtwengophone[0x84697eb] ./qtwengophone[0x8479e4b] ./qtwengophone[0x847a036] ./qtwengophone[0x847a0e7] ./qtwengophone[0x8448ef6] /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0[0xb6ccac8d] /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0(g_main_context_dispatch+0x182)[0xb6ca1802] /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0[0xb6ca47df] /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0(g_main_loop_run+0x1a9)[0xb6ca4b89] ./qtwengophone[0x8448fda] /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0[0xb6cbf38f] /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libpthread.so.0[0xb70b8504] /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libc.so.6(__clone+0x5e)[0xb69f851e] Cheers, Pirmin _______________________________________________ Wengophone-devel mailing list [email protected] http://dev.openwengo.com/mailman/listinfo/wengophone-devel
