It wasn't a priority for 2.1.1 - thanks for bringing it up. I hadn't realised there was a link between the tickets. There was an open question at the end of that ticket from me, which went unanswered. The priority for that patch (and v4l2) could perhaps be raised, but I'd need some people testing the result for non-regressions on a number of platforms. > Just answer me : No it's really low priority or Yes we are working on it.
