I have started to work on the next major version of werc, for now termed 1.1 (1.1.x will probably be a development series, and 1.2 will be the next stable series).
I have put up a roadmap at http://werc.cat-v.org/development/roadmap Suggestions and requests for what else to include in 1.1 are welcome. I also have branched a new repo for this work that can be found at http://hg.cat-v.org/werc-dev/ This repo is a 'converted' version of the old repo, but has had a bunch of ancient stuff that was added by accident (.pdfs from http://doc.cat-v.org mostly) removed, so I recommend people makes fresh clones from there, the full repo size including complete history has gone from over 12Mb to ~1.7Mb. I already have started to work on Pubsubhubbub support and converting the templates to HTML5. Comments and suggestions are very welcome.
