Details:
My feature request is an easier way for players to connect to games hosted on
their local networks. I recently wanted to try playing a Wesnoth game on my
local network to find out you have to supply the IP address with port. I did,
tried some iterations, and it did not work for some unknown reason. When I
tried sauerbraten.org (which is also open source and from which BfW could
'borrow' some networking code), connecting to a locally hosted is
straightforward and automatic: you select 'connect to local game', and if one
found, you're done, no matter the IP address or the port of the server.
Thanks!
