Ok, looked into it a bit further. To answer your question about the OK button
that was a deliberate change. I would often open the statistics dialog by
pressing 's' by mistake, then to dismiss it I would press Enter. Then I would
be really surprised and dismayed that it wouldn't close. I believe this is the
preferable use of the enter key here. If you want to view details your current
options are: 1) click the details button, or 2) double clikc the item in the
menu. You will notice this holds true for other dialogs with buttons in the
"extra" slot which have no hotkey associated with them and you are required
to click upon the button. The details button is an "extra" feature and thus
is not associated with the dialog's primary control, that being the
CLOSE_ONLY model. So I disagree with you there but feel free to start a
discussion in the wesnoth forums. One reasonable compromise would be to allow
the 'd' button to trigger a details view.
