The bug occurs if Malin picks up the book:
09_A_Small_Favor3.cfg, Line 195:
{MODIFY_UNIT (side=3) side 4}
The command does not exist in Darken Volk's version of the book pickup, in
which the rest of the scenario proceeds normally.
