Details:
As a matter of convenience, being able to adjust de-activated sliders would
be useful, and reduce UI drag.
A case in point, you have music volume set high, but deactivated, and want
to lower the volume considerably before you re-activate the music.
Or, you want to adjust the acceleration speed, without actually turning the
acceleration on for the moment. (Currently, you'd need to turn it on, adjust,
and turn it off.)
