Details:
As stated in bug #9663, :droiding your side is only meant to allow the AI to
play for you, not transfer you to observer status. Accordingly, it preserves
your team's view, and is reversible (by re-droiding your side).
However, if you :droid your side, your chat status is changed to that of an
observer. You can not team chat, and your chat messages are shown in white.
According to bug #9663, this is a bug that should be reported separately.
