Follow-up Comment #1, bug #9723 (project wesnoth):
It's already checked at recruitment but the error isn't fatal. Before 1.3.6
there were almost always checksum mismatches due to different unit names in
different languages. I fixed that in 1.3.6 so maybe making the error fatal
now might be an option.
Before I make that change I'd like to hear more from the MP devs (since I
don't play MP at all).
