Follow-up Comment #2:
Thanks for the report, there is indeed something really fishy going on with
the part that's supposed to change a unit into another type, like
Footpad_Peasant to Footpad. When that doesn't work all the player units are
actually killed, which results in the default Baldras leader being used in
the next scenario, which just doesn't have his user-visible name set. I
suspect it's simply a weird WML bug somewhere, will look into it.
