Follow-up Comment #1, bug #9795 (project wesnoth):

Don't see why. Even if you can't attack a stoned unit, you may want to know
this info before the moment when it will be "unstoned". e.g in a scenario
allowing to decide when unstone the unit (enemy or not).

Note that we also display resistance info of unreachable enemy, and you can't
attack them too.

I also have the feeling that if we do this, someone will fill a bug report
about it.

Maybe do some WML trick and give a temporary special 100% resistance to your
stoned unit? (to better highlight its stoned status in the  units list of
resistance/damage_type)
