Follow-up Comment #3, bug #9992 (project wesnoth): Correct, that is what you have to do.
Basically I try to run such a pot-update every 5 days. Just in the time shortly before a release there are more of those updates. You can see those updates at the viewsvn page: http://svn.gna.org/viewcvs/wesnoth/trunk/po/ If you find untranslateable strings you should *at least* post the string, better if you do also post the file and line number.
