Follow-up Comment #2, bug #10272 (project wesnoth):
- The color cursor never leaves the window.
- The system cursor is able to leave the window before it gets hidden, as
well as after, it seems.
- The problem never reoccurs once the system cursor is hidden (until the next
time the application is started)
- It always happens when starting the application, whether color cursors are
on or not. If they were not on, it happens when they are turned on, but once
the system cursor is hidden once, it never comes back inappropriately.
- It does not seem to occur when color cursors are initially off and the
application is started in windowed mode. It does occur when they are on,
however.
I am a Mac developer with some extra time, but I am not particularly familiar
with SDL. I might be able to help, in theory.
