Follow-up Comment #5, bug #10351 (project wesnoth):
I downloaded the openSUSE 10.3 binaries, and installed them as root with:
rpm -U wesnoth-1.3.10-4.1.x86_64.rpm wesnoth-data-1.3.10-3.1.noarch.rpm
I had installed 1.2.6 the same way.
I thought "-U" would replace the old files. Should I be doing something
different? I really would like to know, especially if this is causing my
problems with the game.
