Follow-up Comment #3, bug #9215 (project wesnoth):
I added gzip compression in the network layer which shrinks the upload size.
According to Mythological this solves the problem.
This is no real fix, since it only shrinks the upload size and not the real
cause, but at least it will solve the problem for now.
