Follow-up Comment #1, bug #11049 (project wesnoth):
I filed a duplicate bug under bug #11106. Here's the info I gave there:
When reloading a start of scenario save, only the host gets the sides
restored from the save_ids properly, all clients and observers start from a
blank-slate state, which means lots of OOS (leader type, recruit list, recall
list!)
