Follow-up Comment #2, bug #11271 (project wesnoth):
Since I am in no way familiar with WML I found it quite annoying that the
language allows specification of filenames and paths or names, which might be
used as paths, in string attributes with different names. Furthermore
attributes of the same name might base their path information relative to a
different base path if used in a different tag.
In order to accomplish conversion of existing data one needs a list of all
attributes along with their tag context which are string values of type
filename or path. Then one is able to map every list entry to a string
containing the path the attribute is specified relative to relative to the
wesnoth base path.
For now I just listed some random attributes which contain relevant path
information but without the tags and the base base their content might be
relative to.
