Details:
as far as i know, the best tactic of fighting rats or preventing wolf attack
(and it worked with nearly all wild animals, btw) was to use open fire agains
them.
so it's just an idea, maybe it may sound strange, but it's quite important
for the game logic imo. consider this:
(from Goblin Pillager unit)
unit_description= _ "Some Goblins train their wolves to overcome their
fear of fire. In raids, these goblins take (...)
and then take into account Giant Scorpion's +100% dam received from fire
attacks.
- it clearly states that in Wesnoth wolves ARE considered being afraid of
fire, and that scorpions are very easy to kill with fire - and in RL this
works exactly the same for all animals. so shouldn't *all* wild animals (like
Cave Spider, Wolf, Giant Rat from the Necro campaign etc.) in Wesnoth have at
least some +20% damage received penalty agains fire attacks?
