Details:
Attached is a savefile with which to test. I can reproduce the bug reliably
on r25476.
The Crossroads scenario in HttT features preplaced ambushers (in the test
savefile one has been flipped to side 1). Everything has worked just fine
previously (very likely it works in 1.4), but now there's something very
broken. Seems to be the [hides] abilities not working quite right, or perhaps
the animation/display system doing something funny which causes the hiding to
cease working every now and then.
There's an enemy orcish archer at 12,7 which is visible. Move your orcish
archer somewhere (a 1-hex move is enough), and the enemy archer disappears
(you may need to mouseover it or otherwise refresh the screen). Then, if you
undo your move and click on your unit, the enemy archer appears again. The
bug is that the archer ever becomes visible unless you're next to it, because
it's an ambusher. Yet ambushers not adjacent to you (yet only ones in the
immediate vicinity!) in this scenario almost seemingly randomly become
visible when you move somewhere.
I'm marking this as a blocker with high priority since it already breaks a
lot in this one scenario, and probably affects other ambushers like woses as
well.
