Follow-up Comment #1:
Since the way to reproduce my exact test case might be a bit confusing and
complicated, I've noticed that it's fairly easy to trigger the same bug by
just moving around randomly on or near hills. It seems to switch nearby
ambushers visible and vice versa often enough.
