Follow-up Comment #1:
I just realize that you didn't mentioned if it was only when using color
cursors. I suppose that's the case, but can you confirm that it works fine
with the black & white cursors? (this will make the fix simple, just
auto-switch to b&w before quitting)
PS: option is in Preferences > Display > Show color cursors
