Follow-up Comment #3, bug #11707 (project wesnoth):

Addendum:
- I just tried playin with all in-game sound disabled ("Audio" options, all
four checkboxes disabled) and the crash happened anyway => so much for my
theory that its an in-game audio problem.
- I don't remember any crashes during the computer players' turns, only
mine...  not sure how significant that might be.
- In spite of having all in-game sounds disabled, I still occasionally get a
"gong" type of sound...  presumably from OS X itself.  I'm not sure why this
should occur though....  (I realise this sub-point is almost certainly not a
wesnoth issue, I just include it here because it strikes me as odd...  The
details I've provided on this point are also currently too vague to be useful
,p)
