Details:
The Weldyn Besieged scenario (as of 1.5.4) does not provide a challenge
suitable for the end of the Eastern Invasion campaign. I modified the
original WML to make the following changes:
1) Lich names are hidden until the player attacks the lich
2) Mal-Ravanal (and five other liches) are randomly assigned starting
locations (more precisely, six liches are randomly assigned names when the
player attacks them)
3) Mal-Drakanal was moved to the keep directly North of Weldyn (the AI in
that keep tends to expose itself by capturing a second town)
4) the mystery liches gain gold (and Mal-Ravanal gains level 3 recruits) when
revealed
5) Mal-Ravanal is more likely to be one of the final liches revealed than one
of the first
These changes make the scenario a fitting end to the campaign.
My modifications were limited to the scenario cfg file, but I haven't run
wmlint and I strongly suspect it will complain about Mal-Ravanal not being
defined at the beginning of the scenario.
Anyway, please review my modifications for inclusion in the official campaign
source. Thank you.
