Follow-up Comment #2, bug #12875 (project wesnoth):
share_map and share_view are not being parsed in the [modify_side] command
(oops). I'll fix that after 1.5.10 is released.
Your fixes are fine though, and they work perfectly when the [side]s are
already declared with share_maps and share_view set to 'yes'/'true'/'1'.
