Details:
I currently have trunk so I put in the current version number but I verified
this goes back to at least 1.4.7. It looks like whatever autogens
http://www.wesnoth.org/macro-reference.xhtml will skip something if it
doesn't have a comment and The REPEAT macro does not have a comment in the
utils.cfg file.
For your cut and pasting pleasure, here is a suggested comment:
# Macro to execute some WML a defined number of times.
#
# Example that causes screen to quake 5 times:
#! {REPEAT 5 (
#! {QUAKE "rumble.ogg"}
#! )}
