Details:

To reproduce, load the attached start-of-scenario save with the Delfador's
Memoirs add-on from wesnoth-umc-dev available. Dialog will hang just after
Delf says "Those standing stones - they summon evil creatures!".  

Music continues to play and the mouse moves, so it's not an X issue and
Wesnoth is still running.  A clue to the problem may be that the message that
hangs happens right after two creature spawns.
