Follow-up Comment #3, bug #13311 (project wesnoth):
If someone points me to the code that retrieves the localized date names for
the files, I could attempt to run some tests on my computer to try and pin
down the issue (whether it's SDL, which I'm not really familiar with, or OS
issue).
I just don't feel like browsing code for Wesnoth, there being various
separate folders with ui components.
