I noticed in my campaign (Sceptre of Life) that the gold carryover wasn't
working properly once I updated it to 1.5, and later 1.6. At the end of a
scenario, gold is calculated properly, but when the next scenario begins, the
gold level drops back down to the minimum starting gold.
My [endlevel] code is equivalent to the code found in other working
campaigns. The only major difference that I can think of is that my campaign
necessarily specifies a save_id instead of using the default that most
campaigns use. So, I suspect that the gold level is not being properly
stored to the [player] tag in the save file with the custom save_id, and is
thus reverting back to the minimum starting balance.
To reproduce the error, download Sceptre of Life from the 1.6 campaign
server, run it in 1.6, and debug your way through the first scenario. When
the second scenario begins, your gold level should not be the same as the
gold you ended the scenario with.
