Follow-up Comment #1, bug #13503 (project wesnoth):
Hello Martin, thank you for reporting the bug.
The story tells at the end of scenario 7 and at the start of scenario 9 that
Kalenz has left the gold from the elvish treasury (which was stolen from the
Ka'lian) at the Ka'lian.
We need to get rid of that much gold for balancing reasons.
The bug is that this isn't in sync with the scenario objectives screen which
tells the player nothing about it.
I have fixed this in wesnoth 1.7 but still didn't do the backport to 1.6
because all of that is very untested.
