Follow-up Comment #6, bug #14002 (project wesnoth):
Today I was able to reproduce the bug with english locale.
My friend also can reproduce this bug, although he uses a different screen
resolution.
I've attached a save (english game locale used).
When prompted for character selection choose dwarf rune crafter.
Go to the magic shop. Enter the shop (RMB > "Enter the shop").
Click on the "Tomes" entry (it's at the bottom).
Press "Down".
