Follow-up Comment #2, patch #1302 (project wesnoth):
Per some pointers from the forum, I've added the correct team colors and
taken care of the rest of the TODOs...
I'm aware that this script doesn't use a very good algorithm (and that the
game's algorithm is different), but I feel like there's no good reason not to
use my work, and the Python TC script is a bit more accessible than the
next-best option (Shadowmaster's wesnoth-tc), which although better in many
ways, requires one to download it separately from the game, and in many cases
compile it. Even though the algorithm is "bad", it's quite sufficient for
sprite-editing purposes.
Of course, if wesnoth-tc were included in the Wesnoth source and built along
with the game, and especially if the GUI constructed for it in the forums
could be included (and maybe even ported to more than just Macs...) this
patch would be completely pointless. But as things stand, I don't think it's
a bad idea to have this extra functionality in the Wesnoth source.
