Details:

Loading a saved game in middle of an event causes an assertion failure, and
thus wesnoth exits with a SIGABRT:

++
wesnoth: src/variable.cpp:495: virtual
scoped_wml_variable::~scoped_wml_variable(): Assertion
`(resources::state_of_game)->scoped_variables.back() == this' failed.
Aborted
--

This can be reproduced by starting wesnoth with the --resolution 800x600
switch, starting the included HttT campaign, and pressing the Load Game
hotkey (CTRL+O by default) while the map view is scrolling around before the
characters stop speaking (e.g. while the 'start' WML event is being
executed). Choosing to load any other saved game will cause the
aforementioned abort.
