Details:

Hi,

I've stumbled on a reproducible crash in BfW 1.6.5 while playing the Solo
Tower Defense scenario. During the game, after bringing up the tower upgrade
window, pressing the down arrow immediately crashes wesnoth. Selecting with
the mouse works fine. Also, STD for Wesnoth 1.4.7 with its old, narrower
selector window doesn't cause this problem.

The program crashes with the following mesaage:

wesnoth: sdl_utils.cpp:286: surface scale_surface(const surface&, int, int,
bool): Assertion `h >= 0' failed.

And gdb says:

(gdb) backtrace
#0  0x40781681 in __kill () at __kill:-1
#1  0x4016a47d in pthread_kill (thread=10329, signo=0) at signals.c:65
#2  0x4016a9fb in raise (sig=1075272444) at signals.c:236
#3  0x40782e89 in abort () at ../sysdeps/generic/abort.c:88
#4  0x4077b622 in __assert_fail (assertion=0x0, file=0x0, line=0,
    function=0x8493fc0 "surface scale_surface(const surface&, int, int,
bool)")
    at assert.c:74

Can anyone try to reproduce the crash on their own system? I'm not sure if
there's something wrong with my build (compiled with gcc 4.4.1 for athlon-xp
architecture) or the bug is genuine.

Thanks
