Follow-up Comment #3, bug #14677 (project wesnoth):

So it's not a freeze, it's a crash, and presumably a memory corruption. First
thing, you should produce a debug version of wesnoth, for instance by
configuring with option --enable-debug and doing an entire recompilation.
Then, run it under valgrind:

valgrind path/to/wesnoth -l UtBS-The_Morning_AfterThe..._Turn_19.2.gz

Hopefully it will help tracking where the corruption comes from.
